FAQ’s

Q: Where did you go? I called Dieter’s and they said you didn’t work there anymore.

A: That is correct. After almost 30 years I switched to Black Forest Porsche/BMW/Mini. It was time for a switch and Black Forest was the best fit for me and I am really enjoying the change. I can be reached at the shop at 858-292-1192 or even better at steve@911sg.com

Q: I have seen other articles by Steve that are not posted here; where are they?

A: Many old articles are in need of updating in text, pricing, and photos. These are in process, but if you have specific questions about a specific article I can be emailed and I will do my best to answer specific questions.

Q: How do I get updates on projects and motorsports events 911SG is involved with?

A: There are a couple of ways to stay connected. The best way to stay connected is to check out my social accounts which are linked on the bottom of each page of this website. (Right down there!)

A: You can also check out my Street & Track car pages which I am constantly updating with client and Motorsport projects.

Q: How do I get on Steve’s service schedule?

A: After almost 40 years in the business I have unfortunately acquired more customers than hours of the day allow, For that reason my schedule is extremely impacted and pre-scheduling is required. Just email me with your service requests and time line and I will get back to you with options. (Steve@911sg.com) Once you have become an established customer I will schedule your annual service appointments a year in advance. I do have emergency days scheduled but those are very limited and reserved for established customers.

Q: I have a special project I want to talk to Steve about; how does that work?

A: I offer a consultation service where I can evaluate a project, give you advice and guidance as well as estimated associated costs. This service is charged on an hourly rate but can save thousands of dollars down the road avoiding pitfalls of large expanding projects.
